Studiehandledare på tyska, 50 %

Internationella Engelska Skolan Växjö söker en engagerad studiehandledare på tyska för en deltidsanställning på 50 %.

Som studiehandledare kommer du att stödja en elev i att utveckla sina kunskaper i olika skolämnen genom studiehandledning på tyska. Arbetet sker i nära samarbete med elevens ämneslärare, mentor och övrig berörd personal.

Arbetsuppgifter

Ge studiehandledning på tyska, individuellt eller i mindre grupp.
Hjälpa eleven att förstå ämnesinnehåll, instruktioner och centrala begrepp.
Stödja eleven i att använda sina tidigare kunskaper och erfarenheter i den svenska undervisningen.
Förbereda och följa upp undervisningsinnehåll tillsammans med eleven.
Samarbeta regelbundet med ämneslärare och mentor för att planera stödet utifrån elevens behov.
Bidra till att utveckla elevens självständighet, studieteknik och förmåga att delta i undervisningen.
Dokumentera och följa upp elevens utveckling tillsammans med ansvariga lärare.

Vi söker dig som

har mycket goda kunskaper i tyska,
har goda kunskaper i svenska och/eller engelska,
kan förklara innehåll tydligt och anpassa ditt språk efter elevens behov,
har god samarbetsförmåga och ett professionellt förhållningssätt,
är lugn, ansvarsfull, organiserad och lyhörd,
delar skolans höga förväntningar på elevernas utveckling samt vårt fokus på trygghet, studiero och lärande.

Pedagogisk utbildning eller tidigare erfarenhet av arbete som studiehandledare, lärare eller elevassistent är meriterande men inget formellt krav.

German-Speaking Study Guidance Support, 50%

Internationella Engelska Skolan Växjö is seeking a committed German-speaking study guidance support worker for a 50% part-time position.

In this role, you will support a student in developing their knowledge across different school subjects through study guidance in German. You will work closely with the student’s subject teachers, mentor and other relevant members of staff.

Main responsibilities

Provide study guidance in German, individually or in a small group.
Help the student understand subject content, instructions and key terminology.
Support the student in connecting their previous knowledge and experiences with the Swedish curriculum.
Prepare and follow up learning content together with the student.
Collaborate regularly with subject teachers and the student’s mentor to plan support according to the student’s needs.
Help the student develop independence, effective study habits and the ability to participate fully in lessons.
Document and review the student’s progress together with the responsible teachers.

We are looking for someone who

has an excellent command of German,
has a good command of Swedish and/or English,
can explain content clearly and adapt their language to the student’s needs,
works collaboratively and maintains a professional approach,
is calm, responsible, organised and responsive,
shares the school’s high expectations for student progress and our commitment to safety, calm and effective learning.

A teaching or educational qualification, or previous experience as a study guidance support worker, teacher or student assistant, would be advantageous but is not a formal requirement.
