Music Teacher to IES Skellefteå
IES Skellefteå opened in 2019 and offers outstanding bilingual education to around 500 students between grades F-9, and fulfilling career opportunities for around 85 employees. About the position
The position is a full-time ferietjänst starting in August 2026. Probationary period applies for the first 6 months (provanställning).
Main duties include but are not limited to:
Teaching music from grades 1 to 9
Provide a stimulating classroom environment for effective teaching and learning
Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom
Report to parents on the development, progress and attainment of students
Mentorship of students is included in this position as well
Who are you?
You have a Swedish lärarlegitimation in Music
Good knowledge of the English language
You have knowledge of and share the values and ethos of the International English School*
You are passionate about development and a collegial approach
You are enthusiastic, positive, committed and a cooperative team player, willing to go the extra mile for students and colleagues
In addition to teaching meaningful and enjoyable lessons, you are well organised, take pride in your mentorship and other school duties

Musiklärare till IES Skellefteå
IES Skellefteå öppnade 2019 och erbjuder enastående tvåspråkig undervisning till cirka 500 elever i årskurserna F-9 samt meningsfulla karriärmöjligheter för cirka 85 anställda. Om tjänsten
Tjänsten är en heltidsanställning som börjar i augusti 2026. Provanställning gäller de första 6 månaderna. Arbetsuppgifter inkluderar, men är inte begränsade till:
Undervisning i musik från årskurs 1 till 9.
Skapa en stimulerande klassrumsmiljö för effektiv undervisning och inlärning.
Upprätthålla skolans positiva etos och kärnvärden, både i och utanför klassrummet.
Rapportera till föräldrar om elevernas utveckling, framsteg och prestationer.
Mentorskap för elever ingår också i denna tjänst.
Vem är du?
Du har en svensk lärarlegitimation i Musik
Du har goda kunskaper i engelska.
Du har kunskap om och delar värderingarna och etos på Internationella Engelska Skolan Skellefteå*
Du brinner för utveckling och ett kollegialt arbetssätt.
