We are looking for a qualified Spanish Teacher, 100%, for Years 6-9

Internationella Engelska Skolan in Jönköping is a bilingual school for Years F–9.

Are you the person we are looking for?

• You are fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English, or at least one of them.

• You hold a teaching qualification specialising in Spanish (lesser qualifications will be considered but a permanent contract is not possible without Swedish Lärarlegitimation in Spanish)

• You enjoy working as part of a team and creating a positive, safe learning environment for all students.

• You are curious about and inspired by the IES ethos and values.

• Scope: 100% full-time position

• Type of employment: Regular employment leading to a permanent contract

• Start date: September 2026 or as agreed, beginning with an induction period

• Teaching duties: Collaborative planning of teaching and assessment together with your year-group team

• Pastoral role: Class teacher / mentorship responsibility for one class

• Terms of employment: Term-time position covered by a collective bargaining agreement via ALMEGA

• Induction: 3 days of extra induction for new staff every August and 5 planning and training days together with colleagues in August

• Support and structure: Clear routines, leadership structure, and support from school management

• Mentoring: A structured mentorship programme for both new and experienced teachers
