The position:
Collaborate with the Principal and other school leaders in the overall development of the school, its culture, strategy, structure and routines.
Monitor, follow up on and develop the quality of the planning, teaching, assessment and grading.
Lead and coach our team of Middle Leaders who in turn lead their teams
Plan and lead professional development for staff.
Monitor, follow up on and develop our students’ learning and behavioural outcomes (Systematic Quality Work).
Collaborate with other school leaders around academic and social support structures to ensure our resources are used as effectively as possible.
Lead development, appraisal and salary talks for your share of the team.
About you:
We are looking for a competent and enthusiastic people leader to help us continue to develop the teaching, learning & behaviour at our school.
As a person, you are a committed, strategic, positive and reliable team player. You are capable of developing ideas, leading teams, coaching individuals and also of working operatively as an individual.
You exercise cultural intelligence and good interpersonal skills.
You are a qualified teacher or possess equivalent leadership experience within a school environment, coupled with a proven track record of student success.
Leadership training and experience is a clear merit.
You are able to work professionally in both English and Swedish in meetings and presentations.
Support:
A strong and supportive leadership team, introduction & mentorship by the Principal.
Additional leadership training, including the possibility to do UK Senior Leadership Training and later the Swedish Principal training, once established in the role.
