Fritidspedagog for Internationella Engelska Skolan Skellefteå

IES Skellefteå is looking for a committed and knowledgeable Fritidspedagog to join our team in August 2024. This role entails planning and running leisure activities during breaks and after school, while also providing support in the classroom. IES Skellefteå opened in 2019 and offers outstanding bilingual education to around 500 students between grades F-9, and fulfilling career opportunities for around 80 employees.

Our Fritids staff have a great deal of responsibility for our students' development, both knowledge-wise and socially, and therefore we want the applicant to be professional, persistent and creative in their professional practice. Furthermore, applicants should be qualified, flexible and work well in a team, as Fritids teachers and school teachers work together in grade-wise work teams during the school day. As a teacher in our Fritids activities, you receive benefits such as free pedagogical lunch and an afternoon snack “mellis” every day. The position begins August 2024 and is a full-time position, which becomes permanent after a 6 month probation period.
